Tuesday's Terrific Task

Task 1: Open your Mystery Buddies Doc and tell them all about our Main Stars.

•  Why do we do them? 
•  What are they? 
•  What do you get for completing them?

Make sure you add a Heading eg Miss Panther Main Stars so it fits into the Table of Contents. 

Task 2: Carry on with your own literacy activities

Reading 

• Update Shelfari and 40bc doc
• Complete blog post if you have finished your book

Writing

• Check your WALT's first then decide what type of writing you will complete.
• Plan your writing in your literacy book then see me.

Stuck for ideas of what to write about? Go to the draft writing table and choose an idea from the bag!! Or open your writers notebook...

Mystery Buddies

Our Mystery Buddies are feeling neglected....

Now that you know how to make a Table of Contents (don't try to do this until I have taught you...), please go and create headings and update the Table of Contents. I fixed up this one to show you what it should look like!

Then, you must create a new post in your doc. Maybe call it holidays? Or Main Stars? Or anything you like. 

Also ask another question to see if you can find out where they live!

Huritau O Te Tai Poutini - 150 Years of Māwhera

Greymouth is 150 years old! It has been 150 years since our town was officially settled. Of course there were people here before that but that was when it was officially a 'town'!

Your first challenge: Think of your favourite place in Greymouth. It must be a place that was here go so you CANNOT choose 'The Warehouse' or the 'Skate park'.

Find a picture of what your favourite place may have looked like 150 years ago and paste it into this presentation.
