This week we planted our little gardens! Thanks so much New World and School HQ. Click here for photos!
We met up with our buddy classes (just to spy on their techniques...) to pot and plant our seeds. We noticed that the seeds were already in the seed mats.
We learnt about how washing our hands after gardening is so important. We also learnt how to model what to do and then how to help our teina to successfully pot their seeds.
Well done tuakana. They look great. Each of our 4 classes has a tray and we have 2 spare sets that we have put in Graeme's shed and in our breakout space.
I wonder if we could donate them to another class?
Who would you suggest Mamaku?
I think we should give them to Totara 1 because they are fantastic in the garden.
ReplyDeleteI think That we should give them to Totara 2 Because They Love Being In The Garden.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Mamaku 2
ReplyDeleteI think that the gardening idea is very creative! This reminded me of gardening back at home! If we were to donate them I think that we could donate them to either our buddy classes or Room 7! Why are you doing the little gardens project?
Ka Pai Mamaku 2 (good work)

Hello. My name is Elias and I am from Rimu Class at Yaldhurst Model School.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful experience! It is really cool that you get to do that. What was your favourite part, what did you not enjoy as much, what was easy, what was hard.
What were the kind of plants?
I hope you enjoyed it.
